One Songwriting Resource...

One Marketing Tip...
Are you tracking your social media metrics? Creating and posting content is just the start. To really grow your audience, you need to understand what your followers are responding to. Tracking things like profile visits, follows, reach, and shares can show you what’s working so you can create more of the content people want to see.
Try it out: Download our free Google Sheets template, open up your socials, and start filling in your data. Track your progress, spot patterns, and see what works!
One Performance Idea...
Struggling to land gigs? One great way to gain experience and build your audience is to busk in public squares or busy streets. While busking, you’ll get more comfortable performing in front of people, have a chance to practice new songs, and maybe even earn some tips!
Try it out: Bring along a friend to help record some live footage of your performance. You can then share this video with local cafes and venues to help book actual paid gigs. Check your local laws and remember to get any required permits beforehand!
One Music Production Tip...
Most of your favorite records have been written and recorded at the same time. Writing and recording in your DAW instead of with a physical instrument can help you capture the magic in the moment, whether it’s an emotional vocal line or a new sound that inspires you. Sometimes the best take is the first take!
Try it out: If you can, keep your gear out and ready to record at all times. That way when inspiration strikes you can start right away without fiddling with setup. It might feel strange at first, but it helps when you realize your DAW is just another kind of instrument.
One Business Quote...
“Go after the doors that are open to you. That has always been my motto getting into the music business. Do the things that seem to be good opportunities and work hard at it. Try to make good decisions and be nice. Hopefully all of that will pay off at some point.” — Chris Stapleton
Try it out: Pick one opportunity this week, even if it’s small or imperfect, and go all in. Whether it’s an open mic, a playlist pitch, or a collab, treat it like it matters. Show up, do your best, and stay gracious. The habit of saying yes and showing up is the foundation of a lasting career.
